Brodie & Kathryn's Southern Highlands Wedding

When I first met these two, they described themselves as camera shy and un-photogenic. After doing an engagement shoot with them, I quickly found out that they were some of the most comfortable people in front of a camera I have shot. I could see the love they have for each other every time they looked at each other, and it got me excited for their big day.

They got married at Bendooley Estate in the Southern Highlands town of Berrima, a beautiful estate with stunning grounds, buildings and an amazing restaurant with walls lined with books (called the Bookbarn). I spent the hour before the wedding with Jay (my trusty second shooter) scoping out the grounds for ideas and spots to shoot and we were blown away! It was stunning.

The ceremony took place under a huge tree on the grounds, with a view of the grassy fields and the nearby lake, and it was a ceremony full of love and laughter. And the laughter was only going to get more as the day went on.

The combination of an awesome bridal party and a stunning location made for some great photos, and we all had a good laugh and a lot of fun! I could've kept shooting for hours!

The reception was epic, some hilarious and well done speeches, great food, classic photos from the photobooth and some serious dancing went down.

Kathryn and Brodie, you guys were amazing and thank you for letting me be a part of your big day!
